In its efforts to provide modern banking facilities to customers of different sections of the society, Everest bank has inaugurated its 126thbranch at Daldale, Devchuli Municipality ward no 13, Nawalparasi.
Mr. Ek Dev Poudel- Chairman of Devchuli Municipality ward no 13 and Mr. Sudesh Khaling – Chief Executive Officer Everest Bank Ltd inaugurated the branch amidst a special function in presence of Mr. Tej Prasad Neupane – Senoir Vice President FNCCI Devchuli Municipality, Mr. Binod Poudel – Inspector-Armed Police Force Daldale, Mr. Sudhir Gautam Provincial Manager Gandaki Province Everest Bank Ltd, Mr. Puspa Raj Uprety, Head Marketing and Institutional Deposit Department Everest Bank Ltd and various other dignitaries of the society.

Likely, Mr. Sudesh Khaling – Chief Executive Officer of the bank in the function assured that people of Daldale and different areas of Nawalparasi can get modernized and qualitative banking facilities from the newly opened branch. Further, he added that due to the joint venture with Punjab National Bank India Ex-Indian Armies can easily and conveniently receive the pension through EBL. With this new branch the total numbers of branches of EBL at Gandaki Province have reached to 13.

Amidst a special function, Everest Bank Limited (EBL) Bhairahawa branch has started its operation from its own newly built building at Siddharthanagar Municipality ward no. 12, Parharai Tole from May 7, 2023.

During the function, Mayor Mr. Khan stated that as a leading bank of the region EBL has helped in development of Bhairahawa & nearest places & extended wishes to continue in the future too. Further, during the event bank felicitated Mr. Narayan Barai one of the oldest customer dealing with the bank since 25 years.

Everest Bank has inked an agreement with Deposit and Credit Guarantee Fund to provide security coverage to the loans floated in microbanking and economically deprived section.
The MoU was signed between CEO of the bank Mr. Sudesh Khaling and CEO of the fund Mr. Ramesh Ghimire amid a program held on 18th April 2023.
With this agreement, the fund will provide security to the loans floated by the bank in different microbanking and deprived section where Rs 10 lakh will be issued without collateral for individual and group security, Rs 20 lakh with asset collateral, Rs 10 lakh for expat returnees with skills or for members of Dalit community, Rs 3 lakh for earthquake affected family for reconstruction of homes, Rs 10 lakh for national players to begin their business after their retirement, and Rs 15 lakh for women run business.

The E-Library shall be set up at M/s. Shiv Shakti Secondary School, Bateshwar Rural Municipality ward no 4, Dhanusha.

A business agreement has been signed between Everest Bank Limited and SmartChoice Technologies Limited for the purpose of introducing Smart QR to customers who do digital payment transactions.
After this new dimension of service diversification, the customers of Everest Bank Bank Limited can use the bank’s mobile banking app ‘EBL Touch 24’ to pay for any goods and services through Smart QR.
