SCT Network will transform the traditional cash- based transactions into cashless plastic transactions using fourth generation switching software and hardware.
The EBL Debit Card will be accepted at over 15 ATMs wherever the logo of SCT is displayed and over more than 250 merchant outlets in Nepal. The Debit Card will be issued free of cost to all the EBL Saving Premium Cardholders. The EBL Debit Cardholder will be entitled to discounts at various Outlets.
At EBL, we have always believed in using technology to add value to the services provided to the customers. In future EBL is set to tie up with its joint venture partner Punjab National Bank which will enable our clients in Nepal to have access to ATM’s of Punjab National Bank located at over 100 cities in India.
Among other services, the Representative Office will facilitate Nepalese citizens to remit their savings from India to Nepal through banking channel. They would be permitted to open the account in any of the EBL branches in Nepal through selected branches of PNB in India itself. Further, the Nepalese who have proven regular income are likely to be provided Overdraft facility by EBL.
The Representative Office will further make available to potential investors in Nepal the required information regarding the applicable laws, introduction to Nepalese joint-venture partners etc.
