With the objective of expanding its network to every nook & corner of the country, Everest Bank inaugurated its new branch at Sitapaila of Kathmandu district.
Amid a function held at Sitapaila, the newly opened branch was inaugurated by Mr. L.V. Prabhakar, Executive Director, Punjab National Bank, joint venture partner of Everest Bank Limited and also a Board of Director of Everest Bank Limited. Other distinguished guests present in the occasion were Mr. Arun Man Sherchan, Promoter Director, Mr. Someshwar Seth, Chief Executive Officer and other Senior Officials of the Bank.
The Bank presently has Customer Base of over 9.5 lacs, one of the highest in the industry. Further, the Bank recently adjudged as Number 2 bank among commercial banks under CAMELS rating. Presently the Bank is rendering professionalized & efficient banking services through its widest domestic network of 80 branches, 7 Extension Counters, 28 Revenue Collection Counters, 113 ATMs and also through its widest global network.

Amid a function held at Battar, the new opened branch was jointly inaugurated by Mr. Sanju Pandit, Mayor of Bidur Municipality and Mr. Someshwar Seth, Chief Executive Officer of the Bank. Other distinguished guests present at the occasion were Ms. Gita Kumari Dahal (Dy. Mayor of Bidur Municipality), Mr. Nar Hari Regmi (DSP-Nepal Police), Mr. Prem Narayan Shrestha (Major-Nepal Army) among others. Similarly, the newly opened branch at Dupcheshwor was jointly inaugurated by Mr. Yobindra Singh Tamang, President of Dupcheshwor Rural Municipality and Mr. Someshwar Seth, Chief Executive Officer of the Bank.

Mayor of Bansgadhi Municipality, Mr. Salikram Adhikari and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, Mr. Someshwar Seth jointly inaugurated the branch amidst a function held at Bansgadhi. Ms. Sushma Chaudhary (Dy. Mayor, Bansgadhi Municipality), Mr. Kamal Prasad Poudel (Chief Administrative Officer, Bansgadhi Municipality), Mr Mahendra Jung Shahi (Chief, Area Administrative Office) and other distinguished guest were also present at the function.

As a part of its effort to promote culture and tourism, Everest Bank has been publishing its annual calendar. Accordingly, the Bank on 10th April, 2018, unveiled its calendar for 2075 B.S. with the theme of provincial jatra.
Amid function held at its Head Office, Mr. B. K Shrestha, Chairman released the calendar for 2075 B.S. The Bank also acknowledged the contribution of Mr.Satya Mohan Joshi, renowned culture expert, for his contribution to prepare write ups.
