एभरेष्ट बैंक लिमिटेडले बाढी पहिरो पीडितको सहयोगको लागि प्रधानमन्त्री दैवी उद्धार कोषमा रु. ५० लाख सहयोग गरेको छ ।
बैंकका प्रमुख कार्यकारी अधिकृत (सीईओ) श्री सुदेश खालिङले प्रधानमन्त्री तथा मन्त्रिपरिषद् कार्यालय, सिंहदरबारमा सम्माननीय प्रधानमन्त्री श्री केपी शर्मा ओलीलाई उक्त रकमको चेक हस्तान्तरण गर्नुभयो।
गत असोज ११ र १२ गते आएको बाढी, पहिरो र डुबान बाट प्रभावितहरूलाई राहतका लागि उक्त कोषमा सहयोग गरेको हो । मुलुकलाई विपत्ति आइलागेको अवस्थामा बैंकले विगतदेखी नै सहयोग गर्दै आएको छ।
Everest Bank as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility has been conducting various CSR program out for the benefit of people at large especially for the deprived section of the society, education, health, natural calamities management, environment preservation, cultural promotion, basic infrastructure improvement in rural areas, income earning capability enhancement of socially backward community, financial literacy, customer protection programs.
In this Regard, amid a function Chief Executive Officer of Bank Mr. Sudesh Khaling handed cheque of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Nepalese Rupees Five Lakhs Only) to Ms. Muna Lama, Gandaki Province Coordinator of Manavsewa Ashram. During the event Mr. Khaling stated that vulnerable, impoverished, disabled, homeless, physically weak or mentally or psychologically challenged people who are forced to live miserable lives in the open sky street-banks and public places shall be beneficiated by this help of bank. Further, he stated that bank shall continue to help & collaborate with organizations working in field of humanity with such heart touching & selfless feelings. During the event Ms. Lama Gandaki Province Coordinator of Manavsewa Ashram stated that all the people associated with the ashram shall take benefits of this support & granted note of thanks to EBL.
Mr. Puspa Raj Uprety-Head Marketing & Institutional Deposit EBL, Mr. Sudhir Gautam Provincial Manager Gandaki Province EBL & Mr. Sandeep Khatry Branch Manager Gorkha Branch EBL & Mr. Ishwor Kaji Maskey Coordinator of the Ashram were also present in the event.

Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the bank has offered financial assistance to Samata School in the Birgunj prison premises.
The bank has engaged in education, health, natural disaster management, environmental protection, cultural promotion, rural infrastructure improvement, income generation for socially disadvantaged groups, financial literacy, customer protection programs, and various charitable works as part of its corporate social responsibility.
The bank has provided two lakh rupees of financial assistance to the primary school run by Samata Educational Guthi Nepal in Birgunj prison premises with the sacred purpose of providing school education to the children of women prisoners who are living with the prisoners who are serving their prison sentences in the Birgunj prison premises.
Bibhuti Neupane, the bank’s regional manager for Madhesh State, handed out the cheque for the specified amount to the school’s principal, Anamika Mishra, at a ceremony held on the school grounds.
The bank believes that this will assist convicts’ children gain an education and additional support in school. Principal Mishra further stated that with the help of Everest Bank, the education of the convicts’ children will be facilitated and that because the school is a shared property of the Birgunj region, everyone should contribute to its construction.

Everest Bank, under its CSR initiative, has provided financial support of Rs 25 lakh to Nepal Police for the establishment of Nepal Police Everest Bank scholarship fund.
The Bank has signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Nepal Police Headquarters and Police Welfare Fund for the establishment of “Nepal Police-Everest Bank Akshaya Fund” worth 2.5 million.
The program was signed by Kedar Dhakal, Senior Superintendent of Police of Nepal Police Police Welfare Fund and Keshavraj Poudel, Deputy General Manager of the Bank, in the presence of Dhiraj Pratap Singh, Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Police and Sudesh Khaling, Chief Executive Officer of the Bank.
During the ceremony, Chief Executive Officer of the bank Khaling expressed his belief that the Akshaya Fund established for the descendants of Nepal Police’s martyrs and disabled, retired officers will improve the educational life of the established Akshaya Fund.
According to the bank, the fund has been established with the aim of providing Jehendar scholarship as a motivation to the descendants of Nepal Police who study in Nepal Police Schools, and who are disabled, retired, Police Office Assistant to Police Senior Constable and who have obtained excellent marks.

During the inauguration Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the bank stated that people of Taukhel & around the region can take the advantage of the bus stand & believed that it adds value in development of Taukhel as smart city of the region.

A Mou has been executed on 22nd Feb, 2023 between Everest Bank Ltd and Baglung Municipality, Baglung is to provide humanitarian assistance with concentration on the sanitation purpose through the construction of Modern and Disable Friendly Toilet at Aishwarya Park, Baglung, ward no 2 under the Corporate Social Responsibility of EBL. The Mou is signed by Mr. Sudhir Gautam, Gandaki Province Head, EBL & Mr. Basanta Kumar Shrestha, Mayor, Baglung Municipality.

Mr. Puspa Raj Uprety-Head Marketing& Institutional Deposit, Mr. Kumar Sherpa-Branch Manager Dharke Branch of the bank & Mr. Gobardhan Godar –Vice Principal of the School & various other people of the society were also present during the event.

Mr. Puspa Raj Uprety-Head Marketing of the bank was also present during the event.

Everest Bank as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, has extended financial support of Rs. 5.00 lacs to Nagarik Care Centre of Biratnagar on Jestha 28, 2078 to support its fight against COVID-19 pandemic.Amid a program held at Biratnagar, the Cheque was handed overby the Provincial Head(Province-1) of the bank Mr. Purna Bahadur Shrestha to the President of Nagarik Care Centre Mr. Pawan Kumar Sharadha and Senior Vice-President Mr. Mahesh Kumar Jaju.
