Chief District Officer of Nawalpur, Mr. Shambhu Prasad Marasini and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, Mr. Someshwar Seth jointly inaugurated the branch amidst a function held at Kawasoti. Ms. Chandra Pun (Mayor, Kawasoti Municipality) and Mr. Dasu Ram Pokharel (President, Nawalpur Chamber of Commerce) and other distinguished guests were also present at the function.

8th of March is celebrated as International Women’s Day in order to signify the contribution of women in development of the society and nation. To mark the 108th International Women’s Day and as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Everest Bank Limited organized a Free Health Camp and Talk Show Program on 7th March 2018 at its Branch Office, Pulchowk.  

The Bank organized Free Health Check-up Camp and Talk Show in association with Norvic International Hospital where more than 200 individuals received consultation/treatment from the team of doctors for the services of Gynecology, Cardiac, General Endocrinology and Orthopedics. Likewise, Consultant General Surgeon, GI Surgeon, Consultant Breast Surgeon and Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon Dr. Jyoti Rayamajhi Rana conducted talk show on “Breast Cancer Awareness” and some facts on Breast Cancer and how to cope up with it.

The key attractions of the offering are Accidental Death Insurance of Rs.5 lac and Medical Insurance of Rs.1 lac besides free offering of Debit Card, Internet/SMS banking, ASBA, DEMAT and 50% discount on Locker, Credit Card with attractive interest rate of 4% p.a.

The product was unveiled by Mr. Someshwar Seth, CEO of the Bank. Others present at the function were Mr. MK Kapur (CEO of Orient Insurance Co), Mr. Rajesh Gautam, DGM, Mr. Rajeev Jain DGM and other senior officials of the Bank.

To mark the International Disability Day on 3rd December 2017, Lagankhel branch of Everest Bank’s conducted a CSR program by donating required materials to the blind students of Namuna Machindra Secondary School, Lagankhel. At the function, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Someshwar Seth & Dy. General Manager Mr. Rajeev Jain donated the materials to the students in the presence of Resource Person Mrs. Buddha Laxmi Shrestha. Senior Manager Mr. RanjanKhadka and Branch Manager of Lagankhel Branch Mr. Lava Kuikel were also presented at the program.

In a bid to introduce new and innovative services focusing on customer’s transaction security, Everest Bank Ltd. has introduced its a brand new version of Internet Banking Service to its customers by replacing the older version.

The new version is equipped with multi-factor authentications for better customer security. The additional security measures adopted in the new system in addition to the conventional User Id/ password are Capcha, Picture/Phrase and One Time Password (OTP). In order to speed up the password delivery process of Internet Banking System, the Bank has also made comfort to its customers by sending the password in their registered Mobile / Email and customer need not required to visit at the Bank to collect password slip resulting in saving of their time.

Besides, the Bank is also introducing Corporate Module of Internet Banking System which would be useful mainly for the business/corporate house to manage and control their account internally. The corporate module will also include the features such as Salary / Payment distribution by themselves, sending request for opening L/C Fixed Deposit Accounts etc.
