On 3rd July, 2024 Everest Bank Limited (EBL) signed MOU with Radisson Hotel Kathmandu (RHK) to enable bank’s customers and employees to receive a special discount on various services provided by the hotel.

Following the agreement, employees using employee Identity Card and customers of the bank using its Debit / Credit cards will get attractive discounts on Foods & Beverage, Pastry Shop and Tranquility Spa at Radisson Hotel Kathmandu. They also provide 15% discount on Airport Restaurant run by RHK. The MoU was signed & exchanged by Mr. Keshab Raj Paudel, DGM of EBL and Mr. Kedar Pandey, Director F & B, Radisson Hotel Kathmandu (RHK).

On June 10th, 2024 Everest Bank Limited and Helios Clinic @ Diagnostic Pvt. Ltd. (Hospital), Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, has signed a MOU wherein the Helios Hospital will offer special discount of 10% on Diagnostics (X-ray, USG, CT, BMD, ECG, ECHO, TMT) & Lab Services along with 7% discount on Pharmacy & 5% Day Care Services to the customers, card holders, mobile banking users, staffs & their family members of EBL.

On 5th May, 2024, amidst a special function, Everest Bank Limited (EBL)Birgunj Branch & Madhesh Province Officehas started its operation fromnewly built own building located at Birgunj Metropolitan ward no 4, Adarsh nagar from existing ward no 10.

The formal opening was done in presence Mr. Hari Gautam Senior Vice President-Birgunj Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Bal Gopal Baidya Chairman of the bank & other dignitaries of the society & bank. Mr. Kuikel of the bank in the function assured that people of Pakadi & different areas of Mayadevi Rural Municipality can get banking facilities from the newly opened counter. The 29th Annual General Meeting of Everest Bank Limited (EBL) was held on 2080-06-30.

The general meeting approved the financial statement, balance sheet, profit and loss account, cash flow statement, and annual report for the same time, as well as the auditor’s report.

For the fiscal year 2079-80, the general meeting approved a resolution to distribute 10 %  bonus shares and 10.53 % cash dividend (including bonus share tax) to shareholders.

As the present issued and paid-up capital will increase when the bank distributes the planned bonus shares, the general meeting approved a motion to alter the memorandum of association to enhance the issued and paid-up capital.

The general meeting of the bank has unanimously passed the decision to appoint Mr. N. Amatya & Co., Chartered Accountants as auditors for the year 2080-81.
