In line with its vision to be a leading commercial bank with pan Nepal presence and become a household name, providing wide range of financial products and services, Everest Bank signs MoU with Punjab National Bank (PNB) to facilitate Nepal Domicile Indian Gorkha Soldiers

 

Amid a function held at Head Office of PNB, New Delhi, Mr. Someshwar Seth, CEO of Bank and Mr. Samir Bajpai, General Manager of PNB-Government Business Division, signed the MoU. The major facilities that Indian Gorkha Soldiers will avail opening of twin accounts at EBL and PNB through PNB branches, free remittance of the fund having Rakshak Plus account, co-branded PNB-EBL Debit cards, loan by EBL to Nepal Domicile Indian Gorkha Soldiers having Rakshak Plus account. Senior officials from both banks were presented during the event.

 

 

EBL presently has Customer Base of over 10 Lacs, one of the highest in the industry. Further, the Bank recently adjudged as Number 2 bank among commercial banks under CAMELS rating. Presently the Bank is rendering professionalized & efficient banking services through its widest domestic network of 89 branches, 28 Revenue Collection Counters, 116 ATMs and also through its widest global network.

Amid a function held at Head office Lazimpat, Everest Bank launches two products with insurance facility of Rs. 5 Lacs to the customers along with various other facilities. Matribhumi Bacchat Khata with the tag line “Bidesh ko Mehenat ko kamai ko, Sodesh maai garaau surakshit Bachat” provides insurance facility of Rs. 5 Lacs with many attractive benefits. Along with it, Corporate Salary Account with insurance & advance salary facilities was also launched on same event.

 

EBL has launched Matribhumi Bhachat Kahata with an aim to ensure safety of their hard earned money with good return. The account holders will also be secured with insurance facility of Rs. 5 Lacs which is a cheery in the cake.

 

Corporate Salary account holder can also benefit from the insurance facility of Rs. 5 Lacs along with facility of advance salary. Both the employer & employee can benefit from this scheme.

Amid a function held at Baneshwor, Mr. B.K. Shrestha, Chairman of Bank unveils the newly renovated premises of Baneshwor Branch. The branch is designed to facilitate banking services to disabled person through its disabled-friendly entrance.  Similarly, E-lobby was unveiled during the event which will provide modern banking facilities like Cheque Deposit, Utility Bill Payment and ATMs. Other distinguished guests present on the occasion were Mr. Someshwar Seth, Chief Executive Officer and other Senior Officials of the Bank.

Amid a function, Mr. Someshwor Seth, CEO of Bank hand over those chair to the Venerable Metteyya Sakyaputta, Vice-Chairman of Lumbini Development Trust.

Prabhakar, Executive Director, Punjab National Bank, (joint venture partner of Everest Bank Limited) and also a Board of Director of Everest Bank Limited.Similarly, the newly renovated premises of Pulchowk branch was also inaugurated during the event. Everest Bank Ties up with FinShot Inc., South Korea for Remittance Services

 

Everest Bank Limited (EBL) has signed agreement with a South Korean Money Transfer Operator, FinShot Inc. to start its remittance services from South Korea. The agreement was jointly signed by Official of the Bank, and CEO of Finshot Inc.

CoinShot is a registered online product and service from FinShot Inc. which is available in web as well as mobile application in both Android and IOS devices. Any remitters in South Korea registering themselves with CoinShot will be able to send remittance to Nepal through Everest Remit, Bank’s official remittance product.

This partnership will add services of the bank in South Korea and will provide added coverage for remittance customer of the bank. The remittance so received from CoinShot will be available for payment from all 82 branches of EBL and 5500+ remittance payout locations all over the country.

Everest Bank Ties up with City Express Money Transfer for Remitance Payment

 

Everest Bank Limited (EBL) has signed agreement with City Express Money Transfer Pvt. Ltd (CEMT) and appointed them as their payout partner for disbursement of international remittance transaction received through their official remittance product- Everest Remit.

The agreement was jointly signed by Assistant General Manager of the Bank, Mr. Keshab Raj Paudel and Managing Director of the company, Mr. Chandra Tandan. Chief Executive Officer of the bank, Mr. Someshwar Seth and Deputy General Manager, Mr. Rajeev Jain were also present in the signing ceremony on behalf of the bank whereas General Manager, Mr. Ajesh Koirala and Business Development Manager, Mr. Sagar Khanal were present in the function on behalf of CEMT.

With this agreement in place, all inbound remittance received through Everest Remit from various countries worldwide will be made available for payment through 5,500 locations of CEMT all over Nepal. With this addition, the total payout locations for disbursement of remittance have reached approximately 9,000 locations all over the country for EBL.

This partnership will provide added coverage for remittance customer of the bank. EBL presently has Customer Base of over 9.5 lacs, one of the highest in the industry. Further, the Bank recently adjudged as Number 2 bank among commercial banks under CAMELS rating. Presently the Bank is rendering professionalized & efficient banking services through its widest domestic network of 80 branches, 7 Extension Counters, 28 Revenue Collection Counters, 113 ATMs and also through its widest global network.
